I wish they’ll put Minty somewhere into the show and give her a couple lines. 12/8/12

I was reading MLP fanfiction long before I watched the show.

It was clearly a mistake, because I didn’t understand any of it. However, much of it was grimdark, and after watching the show for a while, I had a LOT of fridge-horror moments.

I got my friend to watch a few episodes, and while I was a tad forceful at first, she didn’t refuse. Later, out of her own free will, she watched the rest of the episodes. She seemed like she was genuinely enjoying the show. She even drew a pony for me. About a month later, when I mentioned ponies around one of her friends, she denied ever liking it. She then said she watched them “for me.” I did not ask her to watch the whole show. I feel sad and hurt.

I wish the creators of the show would stop pandering to the bronies so often.

Okay, creators. You want to let mostly immature, sexually-confused men know you know they exist? How about doing it with fantastic writing, characterization, animation, and all the jazz bronies claim got them into the show, and that alone?

…Alright. I admit I’m being unfair. References aren’t all that bad if they’re done in moderation. Take Too Many Pinkie Pies as an example. But if you throw them into every scene of an episode, it really brings down the quality and seems like you’re trying to cram too much in at once.

I was so disappointed with the first few episodes of season 3 that I considered completely forgetting about the show.

if this fandom comes to an end someday i fear that i’m gonna cry eve more than if the show ended.

I have grown to absolutely despise the Brony and Pegasister label.

Not only do I feel the label is pointless, and really, really corny, it annoys me just how many fans use it, let alone with pride, implying that being a fan of the show makes them special somehow. It’s almost as if the majority don’t even understand that it’s just a show. It being towards another targeted audience doesn’t change that.

Every time I hear BBBF I can’t help but smile, despite it being so cliche. It reminds me so much of how my brother and I became closer friends once we started watching FIM together. Before we started watching the show we got along, but we weren’t really friends per say. Now, I can’t imagine not having him as my best friend.
