I miss what the fandom was like back when season 1 was still airing

It’s true, I used to spend a good amount of time on EQ daily and r/mylittlepony. But now, I skip many more EQ posts due to my high expectations of brony content. I am quite convinced that the fandom isn’t what it used to be and do agree with the opinions that r/mlp is the last “native” brony site. I also think our fandom is becoming a little too big now and true bronies are becoming a bit more scarce. Antoher problem is the fandom is a bit more perverted in a percentage count of bronies as well. And lastly, season 2 (so far, except ep 1-2) in my eyes still can’t compare to season 1. I am also quite afraid that season 3 won’t compare even to season 2 especially in episode count. Basically, I think this fandom might currently be in its climax of glory, about to take a downturn.

I like the season 1 opening theme better than the season 2 theme.

In my eyes, they’re almost indistinguishable. Both have bad episodes, both have good episodes. Just get over it and watch the show, and don’t make generalizations.1/18/12

In Season 1, she tells everyone to “giggle at the ghosties”. In Season 2, she changes from a brave pony to a scaredycat. Have the creators forgotten about Season 1 already?

01/14/11 Sometimes I think I’m the only brony who likes Season Two much more than Season One.

I’ve seen all the episodes, and frankly, I didn’t like Season One very much. However, I have greatly enjoyed Season Two. It might be because of how I viewed them, though. I watched Season One by myself, but each episode of Season Two I watched and discussed with my fellow bronies on Tumblr. Maybe if I had joined the fandom earlier, I would be able to make a fairer judgement. Who knows.
