Pony Confessions

It’s so upsetting when a new episode pops up and one of their ponies look similar to your own fan pony that you’ve had for quite some time. I was planning on making an ask blog with my girlfriend and even had some things sketched, but now I’m scared to because of backlash from fans who may think I copied her.

I’ve come to the conclusion that reading Cupcakes is a bad fate, but one that can be lived with. However, reading Cheerilee’s Garden and its sequel called Scarlet Harvest is, in fact, a fate far worse than death. Honestly, if I had to ever choose between death and reading either Cheerilee’s Garden or Scarlet Harvest again, I’d pick death. 12/16/12

I think I have a good idea for an ask-blog, but I don’t know if I should start it because it’d be traditional art.

My idea is starring a tertiary character - my term for a pony that appears for a long time in an episode and is ignored - and has traditional art. On top of that, I want to place it in a later time, basically changing Equestria as a whole. I’d love to do it for me, but I’m worried I’ll be criticized if I have the character react wrong.

I feel like I can’t be a part of the brony community because I hate Fluttershy. Every time I meet a brony in real life, they just shun me and leave me out. 15/12/12

I have a friend who seems to think Rainbow Dash is the only reason why people watch the show. It’s made me look at her fans differently.

“wonderbolts Academy” convinced me to go and buy my first pony toy, a small RD plushie. But after I picked her up I saw Twilight and Pinkie there too and felt horrible that I wasn’t getting them too. I ended up spending the last of my paycheck on the three of them.

I’m happy to have them but it kinda scares me that I felt that strongly about ‘abandoning’ them…

Ever since I was rejected by a girl who acts just like pinkie pie, I get a little sad every time I see her and it takes some of the enjoyability out of the show.

14/12/12 - I like MLP since I was about 4 to 6 years old. But ever since Season 3 I’m beginning to lose interest in it. It’s not the show or the plot or anything, it’s the fandom. I’m afraid that it might end up like my older fandoms, once I have been obsessing over, and now it’s just….”bluh.”
