My grandfather died and as well as my mother. The death of those two made me suicidal throughout highschool. Words can’t explain how close they were to me. Months later, MLP aired and stopped my tears and filled my void. Thanks to this amazing show, I live each day remembering my favorite pony; Pinkie Pie curing my deep depression.
I sometimes wish when I see the way Rarity and Sweetie Belle interact that I had younger sibling to.
I feel so bad when I read confessions saying that their parents or families don’t support them. But at the same time I’m glad my parents family and friends support me all the way and even help me achieve my dream of going to Brony-con.
PC: I usually do not allow confessions that reference other confessions, but since it appears it isn’t the actual subject, I will allow it.
I’m not sure if this is true, but I feel like some bronies take Pinkie Pie for granted because she annoys them with her overly buoyant nature. When really I think Pinkie Pie is probably the smartest pony along with Twilight. People may gasp and think this is crazy, but Pinkie has not only defied the laws of physics, but also some stereotypes about how people actually perceive intelligence. When people think of someone like Pinkie Pie they think that someone like her isn’t too smart or wouldn’t be interested in at the prospect of being smart. In the second episode of Friendship is Magic, when Twilight and the others are surrounded by those trees, and Pinkie just laughs it off and goes into her song about facing your fears. Or in Swarm of the Century, when Twilight and the gang basically dismissed Pinkie for just being off the wall as usual. And she proved them wrong, when she in fact knew what the creatures were and was able to get rid of them with no fuss (more or less). And then in Luna Eclipsed, when she kept screaming and running away from NIGHTMA-ahem, I mean Luna. When Twilight confronted her about this, she brushed it off saying, “Pssh. I know that. Sheesh, Twilight, I’m as big as her how’s she gonna gobble me up?” and then with the, “Sometimes it’s just REALLY fun to be scared!” Leading Twilight to come up with the solution to Luna’s dilemma. In a Friend in Deed, when Pinkie goes through that song saying how much it gives her joy just to go out of her way to make other smile, even if it is a bit random. It really was what Twilight said, “Pinkie Pie, you’re a genius!” But, I think Pinkie is more wise, actually. She knows things, but she prefers to keep to what she feels is more important. There’s this quote from a really old movie (Harvey), that I feel applies to Pinkie: “Years ago, my mother used to say to me, ‘In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so so smart or oh so pleasant.’ Well, for years I was smart… I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.” Pinkie is smart, but she also recognizes that to be kind and pleasant is to ultimately be intelligent
